Dear members of the Huizinga Institute,
With the PhD Core Course 1 starting this March, gathering a new generation of PhD candidates to the Huizinga Institute, we think it is a great opportunity to organize a social event for all members to (re)connect.
On the 3rd of April, after the CC1 session, you are welcome to join us at 14:00 at Bartholomeibrug, Utrecht where you will be teamed up to take part in an Urban Escape Game through Early Modern Utrecht.
The game takes approximately 2 hours and covers 4.5km of Utrecht. The only thing you need for the game is a fully charged phone (with external battery if you have it!) as an app guides you through the game (if you do not have the possibility to download an app, let us know and we will pair you accordingly).
Please make sure to register for the event at [email protected] so that we can prepare ahead the different teams and give you further instructions. [Registrations are now closed]
After the game, you are invited to join for drinks at The Rechtbank.
Because the Urban Escape Game is not accessible for everyone, an alternative option is offered: a scavenger hunt through the online exhibition of the Rijksmuseum. Please let us know if you are interested in this option and we will organize it on the same day.
